We had a first snowfall last week. It only snowed a few inches, but it was enough to make a mess of the roads. Jackson's school got out two hours early, his Christmas program scheduled for that night was cancelled and school was delayed two hours the next morning. We spent the afternoon out playing in it, which was a nice break from the business of preparing for Christmas. The kids had a great time and Nicholas discovered sledding. He loves it! He rides down with one of the big boys and after each time down he says "again!" I thought he would get cold and want to go inside since he refuses to keep his mittens on, but I had to drag him in.
