I saw that on a maternity shirt once and thought it was funny. Anyway, here is what I hope will be my last photos with the baby inside of my stomach.... You can compare them with these taken 48 hours before Nicholas was born and see what you think. I went to the doctor on Monday and discussed my delivery options. He felt strongly that because of the speed of my previous deliveries, along with the fact that my babies have never been well positioned for an easy delivery, they would like to induce me before the 40 week mark. The hope is that way the baby will be a bit smaller than Nicholas was, and if they can keep me off my feet with an epidural (I didn't have one with the last two) it will be much less strain on my pelvic muscles, less pushing and hopefully it will keep the baby in a better position.
Natural childbirth is amazing, and I do feel blessed to have gotten to experience it that way (twice), but my recoveries were very difficult, and this time I am willing to let practicality rule the day. It will be interesting to see if the baby feels the same way. Although we haven't scheduled an exact date yet, the baby should be here in the next two weeks!
