What a weekend we had... We celebrated Casey's 35th birthday with Carvel's "flying saucers" on Saturday and then had friends over for his favorite meal (lamb) and pineapple upside down cake on Sunday. Also, just in time for the big day, Casey received a call from a partner at the firm that deferred him, asking if he would still be able to come on this fall! Then on Sunday he got an email inviting him to interview for a judicial clerkship he had applied for. So we went from no prospects to two good ones. In the end we have decided to go with our original plan and will be VA bound at the end of the summer. There is never a dull moment around here!
