Here we are after the parade watching some fireworks. Believe it or not, CT has actually repealed it's ban on fireworks (or maybe it expired) and now some kinds are allowed to be sold and displayed. Anyway, there were people all up and down the beach lighting them off and the result was really beautiful in a chaotic sort of way.

Fireworks!
Here we are after the parade watching some fireworks. Believe it or not, CT has actually repealed it's ban on fireworks (or maybe it expired) and now some kinds are allowed to be sold and displayed. Happy Fourth of July!

June Recap
Not to worry, all you Khan Kids devotees! I haven't forgotten about the blog, I just got a little busy... Anyway, my last post was in June, so I will pick it up from there. Early in the month Casey had the opportunity to play in the "John E. Connolly Annual Golf Tournament", in honor of his Uncle Jack. He had a great time and can't wait to do it again next year.
After that we went up to CT to spend a week at the beach. It was a little on the cool side, but nice and the boys had fun in spite of Nicholas's teething. Father's day weekend we had the pleasure of visiting with Casey's Dad, along with his Mom, sister, brother, nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins who were all in New Jersey, for his cousins's graduation party.
After that we headed back up to CT to spend a few nights at Billings Lake with Nana and Pops and celebrate my Dad's retirement party. While we were there Nicholas finally had a chance to meet his Great Grandmother (my Mom's Mom) and many of his great aunts and uncle's at a picnic at the beach.

Six Months!
How is it possible that Nicholas is already six months old? It seems like just yesterday Jackson was six months old... Anyway, he is getting so big. He now has his two bottom teeth, the right one came through June 1 and the left one on Tuesday. (Keep in mind this blog doubles as his baby book...) He is almost crawling. He can get up on all fours and rock and even go backwards, but to go forward he still has to slither. He does still manage to get anywhere he wants to go, which is usually towards his brothers' toys! He has is doing a lot of babbling is a master at blowing raspberries. I will have to get a video of him in action, but for now, here are some pictures. The first one includes his cousin Kevin, born two weeks after him and the last one was taken by Jackson.
Congratulations Jackson!
