Happy Halloween!

Or more accurately, Happy Eve of All Saints. We had the perfect day for trick or treating. We started off with a parade this morning at the library and then had a visit from Uncle Erik, who was in town for a conference, and then we went door to door with cousins Collin and Mya. Jackson went as a dragon, but at the last minute decided he wanted to be a pirate, so he made me draw a beard on him and then fought with everyone who mentioned his nice dragon costume! "No, I am a pirate!" he would say. "Why does everyone keep calling me a dragon?"

Francis was a tiger and he really enjoyed collecting candy. Everytime he would get something he liked he wanted to stop and eat it. At one house they tried to hand him a candy bar and he told them he liked M & M's. The man actually thought it was so cute that he went inside and found some for him! Anyway, it was quite a night, and we have about 5 lbs of candy, to use in Jackson's pinata next week....

Fall is in the air

In spite of the unusually warm weather, it seems that fall has finally come to Ardmore. The trees are beginning to change and the leaves are falling. We went to Clyde's Cider Mill (a CT favorite) last weekend and painted pumpkins this week and today Jackson got to wear his costume to soccer practice. After spending six years in Phoenix, fall is still a novelty for us.

We are all doing well. Casey has been working hard and interviewing for jobs for next summer. The boys are as cute as ever. Tonight they were playing hide and seek and Jackson told Francis, "I love you Francis. You are my best friend." To which Francis replied, "Thank you." That is his answer to everything... They are endlessly entertaining!

Here are some pictures. The costume Jackson has on is from last year because he couldn't kick the soccer ball in this year's suit! I hope to add some video soon.

Casey in NYC

Casey had the opportunity last weekend to attend a conference in NYC. While he was there he was able to visit with his Uncle Kevin and his family and to meet our favorite presidential candidate and all time favorite congressman, Dr. Ron Paul. Here is a picture of the two of them.

Greetings from Ardmore!

We are finally settling in to our new home in PA and we love it here. The weather has been unusually cooperative and it is still in the 80's here. Casey is enjoying his classes and has been very impressed with Villanova and his professors.

The boys are enjoying being so close to their cousins and have tried out every playground in a 5 mile radius. Jackson is playing soccer this year and really likes it. He takes it pretty seriously and pays close attention to his coach. Francis is busy trying to do everything Jackson does, including talking, riding a scooter, and even sitting on the potty! They have started a little bit of the sibling rivalry but for the most part, I think they are both still happy to have the other to play with.

My days pretty much consist of chasing the boys with errands, meals, and housework mixed in there somehow. Busy, but fun. I did find a nice mom's group and we are starting to meet people from Church, etc. So that is the latest. Hope this finds you well.

Happy Birthday Mama ReRe!

Hi everybody. With family and friends all over the country we thought a blog would be a great way to let you all know what we are up to. I will try to make regular posts with news and pictures so check back often. Today seemed like a good launch date and it also happens to be Casey's Mom's birthday. So happy birthday Marie!
